Our organization is dedicated to empowering the people in our community by providing access to essential resources to improve their quality of life. We focus on offering legal and financial support, and on facilitating access to government resources that are often inaccessible or unknown to many.

Through assistance programs and collaboration with other organizations, we work to close the social and economic gaps that affect our community, especially in times of crisis.

A La Comunidad is dedicated to serving our community in Metro Atlanta as a reliable ally through collaboration, advocacy, and ingenuity.

Founder, A La Comunidad

I started A La Comunidad because I refused to keep watching people in our community suffer in silence. Hard working people with dreams, with families, with so much to offer — living in fear simply because they didn’t know their rights, without anyone to fight for them.

As a Latina woman with over 30 years of executive leadership experience across global markets, this is personal for me. I know what it means to navigate a world that wasn’t built for you.

I have spent my career building meaningful partnerships, championing multicultural communities, and creating access for those who need it most — and through A La Comunidad, I channel that same drive into something that goes straight to the heart.

We connect community members with critical immigration assistance, public services, and emergency resources, closing the social and economic gaps that hold so many back. And I know that when someone finally stands beside you, looks you in the eye, and says “you have rights, and I will help you use them” — everything changes.

That is why A La Comunidad exists. To educate, to empower, to advocate — and to make sure that every single person who walks through our doors knows they are not alone, they are valued, and they deserve to be treated with dignity.
